Al Kaplan is a highly experienced Financial Representative with over 33 years in financial services. Al is a graduate of Washington University (St. Louis) School of Business and brings a wealth of knowledge and business experience to his clients.
Upon graduation, Al served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Pilot and Flight Instructor. After completion of his service, Al got into Radio Broadcasting and Owned and Operated KWED Radio and Seguin Outdoor Advertising in South, Texas.
Al and his family, moved to Lexington in 1990 to become closer to his younger brother Randy who was a Lexington Police Officer. Al began his career in financial services and opened the first Edward Jones Office in Stonewall Center. After leaving Edward Jones, Al opened and became the Branch Manager for A.G. Edwards& Sons. In 2000, AL left A.G. Edwards and became an Independent Representative. Al joined LPL Financial in 2019. Al holds his series 7 and 63 registrations through LPL Financial and also holds his Life and Health Insurance license for the state of Kentucky.
Al follows the K.I.S.S principal and provides a simple, understandable, personalized approach towards investing, to help individuals and families achieve their financial goals.
Al & Sherry live in Richmond at Boone’s Trace with their 3 dogs (Lexi, Cooper & CallaBella), 2 barn cats (Flash and Fat Cat) and 2 horses (Babe and Lil Bit). Al is currently on the HOA board at Boone’s Trace.
