Mike Kretz is a co-founder of Keystone Financial Group (KFG), a comprehensive wealth management firm based in Lexington, Kentucky. He earned a degree in Economics from Centre College and began his career as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in 2001. In June 2008, he left Edward Jones to establish KFG with his business partner. Mike holds Securities Series 7, 63, and 66 registrations through LPL Financial and is licensed in Life and Health Insurance in the state of Kentucky.
Passionate about helping clients pursue their financial goals, Mike works closely with individuals and families to develop customized strategies tailored to their unique needs and objectives. He assists clients in preparing for retirement through wealth accumulation and risk management strategies, and he helps retirees navigate wealth distribution, portfolio management, and income planning. Mike also provides guidance on estate planning, insurance solutions, and education funding strategies. He believes in a proactive, tactical approach to investment management designed to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
Outside of the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Lindsey, and their three children, Tatum, Henry, and Sloane. The Kretz family enjoys traveling, snow skiing, exercising, and making memories with family and friends. Deeply committed to his community, Mike actively gives back through volunteer service and board leadership. He currently serves on the boards of the Henry Clay Memorial Foundation and the Blue Grass Community Foundation.
